You will spearhead opportunities with industry, manage course administration, supervise student development, and contribute to applied R&D with healthcare partners, including wearables, AI analytics, and 3D printing.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Biomedical Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in engineering design and development and/or manufacturing of medical technologies, including biomedical devices.
• Experience in assistive/rehabilitation technology and/or wearable monitoring devices will be advantageous.
• Passionate about education and possess strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum, facilitate learning, and assess Biomedical Engineering modules.
• Spearhead new opportunities and industry collaboration.
• Undertake course management tasks.
• Work on consultancy projects to stay relevant.
• Lead or support applied R&D with healthcare partners focusing on assistive tech, wearables, AI and 3D printing.
• Develop prototypes and demonstrators for teaching and research.
• Support student development in education.
