Job summary

Duke-NUS Centre for Biomedical Data Science (CBDS) seeks a Research Staff to perform advanced data analysis and contribute to multiple genomics and biomedical projects. You will implement pipelines, apply ML methods, and document outcomes under supervision of the Principal Investigator.

The role emphasizes high-throughput data analysis, collaboration with a diverse team, and dissemination of findings through reports and papers.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor’s degree with strong mathematical knowledge.
• Strong computational skills in HPC environments and Linux.
• Experience in high-throughput genomics and sequencing data analysis, and/or ML.
• Strong teamwork skills in diverse teams.
• Interest in applying statistics to real-world medical problems.

Responsibilities

• Implement analysis pipelines and ML algorithms for genomic, biobank, and clinical data.
• Write high-quality technical reports or research papers.
• Attend project meetings and present research outcomes.
• Collaborate on multiple projects within the lab.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described therein.
