Bioanalytical Research Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking highly motivated and innovative Bioanalytical Research Specialists who are passionate about biologic drug development to join us in our fast-growing R&D Lab. The Research Specialist will work both independently and with Research Scientists to provide timely, high-quality support of multiple therapeutic projects.

ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

1. Responsible for the bioanalytical testing of Prestige’s drug pipeline. Such testing may include stability tests, physicochemical and structural characterization (typically of antibodies), forced degradation studies, purity and impurity testing, etc.
2. Performance of method development and method validation.
3. Design new methodologies or refining of current strategies in response to changing requirements during drug development.
4. Gather data and perform statistical analyses, interpret and relay findings in reports or formal presentations.
5. Report and SOPs drafting and reviewing, and presentation.
6. Provide technical and scientific expertise to enable proper operation and maintenance of equipment as required.
7. Working with project management team in dossier writing.
8. Assist in report and SOP review.
9. Perform all other tasks as required and assigned by the Divisional Head.
10. Experimental techniques can include HPLC, UPLC, MS, CE-SDS, cIEF, FTIR, Chirascan, DSC etc.
11. Follow good laboratory safety practices.
12. Process and analyze research data and maintain accurate record of study data.
13. Interpret and communicate data internally (e.g., to supervisor, project teams).
14. Manage work areas to ensure scientific integrity of studies conducted in such areas.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. BSc or MSc in biomedical science, life science or equivalent.
2. Prior R&D/QC experience is required.
3. Good understanding of method development and validation parameters.
4. Good interpersonal skills.
5. Good written and verbal communication skills.
6. Superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills, attention to details.
