Job summary

A leading company in M&E construction seeks a skilled BIM Modeller (Electrical). The role involves creating and maintaining BIM models, collaborating across disciplines, and ensuring project specifications are met. Candidates should possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and have solid experience with BIM software.

Job description

• Industry: M&E Construction
Basic salary up to $4200 for BIM Modeller (Electrical)

BIM Modeller (Electrical - Construction)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update BIM models for electrical systems (e.g., power distribution, lighting, ELV).
• Produce coordinated shop drawings, single-line diagrams, and as-built drawings in Revit or AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with project engineers, BIM coordinators, and other disciplines (e.g., ACMV, plumbing).
• Ensure all BIM models are accurate, clash-free, and in accordance with project specifications and BIM standards.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve clashes using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Maintain documentation and version control of BIM files.

Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools.
• 2–5 years of experience in BIM modelling for electrical systems in construction projects.
• Good understanding of M&E coordination and construction drawings.
Team player with attention to detail and a proactive attitude
