A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced BIM Specialist to develop and maintain BIM models for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in construction plumbing BIM, proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, and strong time management skills. This role involves coordinating with various disciplines, producing shop drawings, and conducting clash analysis.

Job Description

* Ensure that the model aligns with the standards and goals set in BIM BEP/LAE BIM GUID and BIM project criteria.

* Collaborate and coordinate internally and externally with other disciplines on design and model changes.

* Develop accurate construction drawings and extract data based on the discipline BIM platform.

* Coordinate design documentation as a methodology, utilizing BIM software and tools effectively.

* Use Navisworks to present VDC.

* Attend coordination meetings with project consultants and coordinate with project team members from other disciplines.

* Maintain and update the BIM model until as-built stage.

* Carry out proper procedures and preparation for drafting during different project stages, including submission to authorities.

* Produce shop drawings and as-built drawings, including BIM models if required.

* Control documentation of submissions such as technical data, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.

* Maintain records of changes and updates on drawings.

* Develop shop drawings according to schedule.

* Produce, draw, amend, and update drawings using BIM according to specifications, coordinating with the project department.

* Independently create BIM models using Revit with a high level of accuracy.

* Conduct clash analysis of all services independently and resolve clashes.

* Responsible for BIM project setup and maintenance of the BIM model.

* Create necessary 3D BIM Revit libraries and families independently.

* Generate COBie data using Autodesk Revit.

* Prepare CAD drawings such as detailed plans, elevations, sections, isometric, 3D, single-line, double-line, and schematic drawings.

* Sketch and design MEP service layouts and routings, considering space for maintenance and operation.

* Attend coordination meetings as necessary.

* Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by management from time to time.
