Job summary

Shimizu Corporation is seeking a BIM Modeler/Coordinator to develop, update, and maintain BIM models and drawings for construction projects in Singapore. The role requires coordinating BIM models with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors, and performing clash-free model coordination.

You will prepare drawings and ensure documentation stays updated throughout the project. The ideal candidate has experience producing shop drawings (Structure/Architectural/M&E), strong BIM software skills

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architectural, Structural or equivalent.
• Experience working as BIM Modeler / Coordinator.
• Experience on producing shop drawings (Structure / Architectural / M&E).
• Good understanding of building works and can associate BIM with construction needs.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Navisworks or other BIM coordination software will be an advantage.
• Good IT Skills and willingness to learn new software/technology.
• Experience in adoption of BIM processes in large construction projects from tender to completion will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain BIM models and drawings for construction projects.
• Coordinate BIM models with project teams, consultants and subcontractors.
• Perform model coordination and identify potential clashes or design issues.
• Prepare drawings, layouts and other BIM-related deliverables based on project requirements.
• Ensure BIM models and documentation are updated accurately throughout the project.
• Support project teams in BIM coordination meetings and submissions.
• Maintain proper BIM documentation and comply with project BIM standards and requirements.
• Carry out other BIM-related duties as required by the project.
