Job summary

A leading company in civil engineering is seeking a BIM Mechanical Designer to assist their BIM team. The role involves BIM modeling, compliance with standards, and ensuring accuracy in documentation. Ideal candidates will hold an ITE or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and possess proficiency in BIM software, including Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Knowledge of ISO, BSI, PAS, NCS, NBIMS standards.
• Entry-level position requiring relevant qualifications.

Join us to apply for the BIM Mechanical Designers role at Meinhardt Group.

Assist the BIM Team Leader in performing their duties, including:

1. Undertaking BIM modeling and documentation work under the guidance of the BIM Team Leader.
2. Supporting compliance with project Design Criteria, Client Brief, Approved Concept, and BIM Execution Plan.
3. Ensuring adherence to relevant design standards and office standards.
4. Maintaining compliance with program constraints and budget.
5. Following ISO Quality Procedures.
6. Ensuring high quality and accuracy of BIM modeling and documentation.
7. Improving efficiency in BIM modeling and drawing production.
8. Preparing documents, reports, testing data, project manuals, standards, and content.

Job Requirements

• ITE/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with BIM and Production Standards, ISO, BSI, PAS, NCS, NBIMS.
