A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to develop and implement BIM strategies. The role involves overseeing software management, model coordination, and team leadership, ensuring successful project execution through effective collaboration. Candidates should possess strong technical proficiency in BIM software, excellent communication skills, and project management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement the overall BIM strategy and standards for the organization.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of BEPs to define BIM processes.
  • Manage BIM software, data, and the Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • Coordinate the creation of digital models and ensure they meet requirements.
  • Lead and mentor BIM teams, providing training and support.
  • Facilitate communication among architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
  • Monitor BIM deliverables and ensure adherence to standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM software and evaluate new tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement BIM Strategy: Create and implement the overall BIM strategy and standards for the organization and specific projects.
  • Manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs): Oversee the development and maintenance of BEPs to define BIM processes, roles, and deliverables.
  • Software and Data Management: Manage and maintain BIM software, data, and the Common Data Environment (CDE) to ensure information exchange is efficient and secure.
  • Model Coordination and Compliance: Coordinate the creation of digital models, review them for accuracy, and ensure they meet technical, regulatory, and project requirements.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Lead and mentor BIM teams, provide training and support to project staff, and promote a culture of digital collaboration.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, using BIM as a central platform.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor BIM deliverables, ensure adherence to standards, and identify opportunities to improve BIM workflows.
  • Technology Research: Stay updated on the latest BIM software and technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools to enhance productivity.
Essential Skills

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) and data management.
