Job Scope:
- Assist in developing and executing BIM Executive plan for company level and project level;
- Review, develop and maintain office BIM documentation standards;
- Assist and support the office in any kind of architectural projects requiring Building Integrated Modelling (BIM) and ensure completeness and accuracy of the BIM model and drawings;
- BIM coordination with client and external consultants;
- BIM training and supervision of staff for BIM matters.
Detailed Job Description:
- Be technically proficient in prevailing BIM standards and to maintain up-to-date knowledge of BIM best practices;
- To develop or co-author office BIM standards;
- Ensure that the firm performs within set technical guidelines by providing or co-authoring standard operating procedures;
- Meet with senior management regularly and give regular reports, which include individual's performance, project status and development of BIM standards;
- Ensure that technical procedures, documentations and standard policies are adhered to;
- To setup and periodically review the BIM reference library;
- Supervise and check the BIM model and drawings;
- Create and develop BIM models and documents;
- Schedule work to meet project deadlines;
- Initiate with third parties the standards for BIM coordination;
- Continued coordination of BIM model with third parties such as consultants, specialists, contractors, clients and the like;
- Provide technical training to the office and provide continuing coaching and upgrading as required;
- Assign each BIM team member specific tasks and oversees their performance.
