Job summary

Metalwood Engineering in Singapore seeks a BIM/Design Coordinator to support project delivery with advanced CAD/BIM tools. You will prepare and manage drawings using Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, and AutoCAD, ensuring model compatibility and accessible BIM data for all participants.

You will coordinate interfaces with main contractors, verify design drawings meet specifications, and manage design changes while collaborating with the design team and site on project progress.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction and architectural projects, preferably facade/roofing.
• Proficiency in BIM and CAD tools including Revit, Navisworks, Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of DGN/DWF/IFC and MicroStation is a plus.
• Strong project management and decision-making skills.
• Able to work independently and within a team; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and facilitate design drawings using BIM, Rhino, Grasshopper, and CAD for project delivery.
• Ensure models are compatible and BIM data accessible to all participants for collaboration.
• Coordinate architectural and structural interfaces with main contractors and trades.
• Verify drawings meet design specifications with design teams.
• Manage design changes and resolve queries between design and project teams.
• Attend site meetings to provide design input and support project progress.
• Perform additional tasks to support project objectives.
