Bim Designer

Qualifications

• Diploma or university graduate or above, major in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related subject, with theoretical knowledge and practical experience in building material, construction, interior design and decoration.
• Project management experience; lead all local and overseas projects, including planning, coordination, implementation, execution, control and inspection of all projects. Submit a review analysis report to the board for each project after completion. Overseas experience is required.
• Communication and management of external parties; liaise closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities.
• Ability to create and explain design concepts for exterior and interior furnishings.
• Design detailed illustrations of door and window options (two- or four-sides) and cutting lists; aluminum and glass partition cutting lists; casement door and window accessories, etc.
• Able to produce 2D plans including layout, elevations and sections drawings in AutoCAD / Illustrator.

Responsibilities

• Excellent team management; set guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.
• Provide guidance to engineers on construction works, ensure the schedule is on track, maintain quality standards, ensure proper site management, and address technical problems in a timely manner.
• Build up Singapore ABS as a prestigious brand technically in Singapore and overseas markets (e.g., Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Burma, Hong Kong, Macau or China).
• Take perspective views, plans, elevations, and represent the underlying interior design information.
• Highest level of AutoCAD skill is preferred.
• Hardworking with a good attitude toward learning.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, time management and teamwork skills.
• Site checking, site measuring and supervision of ongoing projects.
• Provide conceptual design, design development, visualization, rendering and documentation.
