Qualifications

• At least 4 years' experience in design, construction, or IDD project management.

• Specialist Diploma in BIM or equivalent certifications.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the BEP updates and revisions as needed.

• Coordinate on discipline-specific BIM/VDC/IDD matters with project stakeholders and interfacing contracts.

• Regularly update and report on BIM activities' progress to the PBM.

• Collaborate with other PBCs within the contract and with interfacing contracts.

• Oversee, coordinate, and manage BIM modellers within the delivery team.

• Verify and resolve discipline-specific BIM issues in the project.

• Implement project delivery, digital solutions, and innovations.

• Follow standard procedures for digital delivery, timelines, and BIM/VDC/IDD implementation outcomes.

• Adopt best practices, processes, and tools for BIM/VDC/IDD in the project.

• Ensure compliance with information exchange requirements with stakeholders and interfacing contracts.

• Oversee compliance with PIR and LTAEIR requirements.

• Manage modelling and information exchange protocols for sharing among stakeholders.

• Participate in ICE meetings to contribute to meeting objectives.

• Perform BIM deliverables checks to detect discrepancies and ensure compliance.

• Address misalignments in geo-coordinates and orientations in discipline-specific PIM and AIM.

• Rectify misalignments in federated PIM and AIM within the contract and interfaces.

• Maintain discipline-specific templates and BIM Element libraries.

• Implement measures for cyber security of discipline-specific data on the Contractor’s CDE platform.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering with at least 4 years' experience in design, construction, or IDD project management.

• 3 years of BIM experience as a Project-level BIM Coordinator in large-scale or infrastructure projects, with full project cycle experience preferred.

• Qualifications include:

o Certified with Specialist Diploma in BIM, or

o BIM Management Certification by BCA Academy, or

o Certified Digital Delivery Specialist (DDM Tier 3), or

o BIM authoring software course by an authorized vendor.

• Experience with coordination software like Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM360 is advantageous.
