Job description

BIM Coordinator

• Responsible for coordination and assistance in BIM implementation on projects;

• BIM coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets/workflows and project setup;

• Liaise with the Authority and the Contractor to ensure changes in procedures and standards are effectively communicated to project teams;

• Manage and maintain project content and source additional content for project teams;

• Coordinate with the BIM team and design team to resolve day-to-day modelling and coordination issues as required;

• Check model quality and integrity prior to generating deliverables and issuing model information;

• Coordinate with Lead BIM modellers of all disciplines to ensure models are produced on schedule;

• Append all models in Navisworks and run clash analysis tests;

• Hold coordination meetings with the design team, focusing on clash detection, space proofing, including accessibility and maintainability.
