Role

1. Report to Head of Department (Innovation & Technology)
2. Provide input to the development of the company policies and strategies related to Project BIM Implementation and Management
3. Implement and ensure compliance with company’s BIM policies and strategies within the team
4. Create the conditions and support for collaboration within the Department
5. Manage and maintain Corporate Guides related to BIM-VDC-IDD
6. Report on department projects and staff's state of progress
7. Support Tender Team in providing specific information for tender requirements
8. Engage suppliers, vendors, contractors (and subcontractors) in fulfilling internal project deliverables
9. Keep up to pace with industry technology movement and put forward strategies for consideration to management
10. Organise information, training programmes, coaching and guidance for in-house operations and systems to our users
11. Develop and manage learning materials
12. Competent in BIM-VDC-IDD Tools and Project Management is essential. Good knowledge of industry practices related to Construction deliverables as well as DfMA is required.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee, lead and manage all Project BIM-VDC-IDD in accordance with project requirements, providing regular updates on implementation to respective stakeholders
2. Develop, manage and enhance project BEP, project BIM libraries and Content across all projects, ensuring consistency in the results.
3. Continuously enhance BIM/VDC/IDD Guides, Standards and Methodologies.
4. Support inter-department use of BIM materials, content and data exchanges
5. Lead BIM/VDC/IDD initiatives and manage programmes that will enhance productivity for the Organisation
6. Support Projects BIM implementation using Autodesk AEC Collection especially Revit and Naviswork, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, coupled with VDC methodology and BCA IDD Use Cases.
7. Lead in BIM/VDC/IDD education & training programmes for the unit and the organisation
8. Build up and maintain BIM/VDC/IDD team through hiring and development programmes
9. Support HOD on budgeting, manpower and resource planning, project performance assessment and appraisal, and manpower development.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 8 years in a similar capacity in the Construction Industry
2. Architectural, Engineering and Construction Industry or equivalent
