Job summary

Next you Career is seeking an Accounting Specialist / Manager (based on experience) in Singapore. You will handle outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements for a portfolio of clients.

The role requires 1-3 years of relevant experience, a solid grasp of Singapore accounting standards and tax rules (CIT, GST, withholding tax), and proficiency with XERO. Korean language skills are highly preferred for frequent client communication, and you will lead and supervise

Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in accounting, tax, or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and practices.
• Solid understanding of Corporate Income Tax, GST, and Withholding Tax.
• Experience with XERO or other cloud-based accounting software is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and handle client-facing responsibilities independently.
• Previous experience in team management or supervision is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Korean is highly preferred due to frequent communication with Korean clients.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle outsourced accounting services, including bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements.
• Manage tax filing services for corporate income tax, GST, withholding tax, and other filings.
• Support audit-related matters by coordinating with external audit firms and assisting clients through the audit process.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and provide timely professional support on accounting and tax needs.
