in Katong, Singapore, seeks an English-language educator to lead the English side of a bilingual classroom, co-design learning with a Mandarin partner to deliver a coherent inquiry in two languages. You will design English provocations, foster oral language and early literacy, document children's thinking through stories and portfolios, and share progress with parents while embedding SEL and wellness throughout the day.

Qualifications

• ECDA qualification for English-language track with ECDA registration (or eligibility).
• Fluent, articulate spoken and written English meeting ECDA requirements.
• Experience or interest in inquiry-/project-based learning.
• Strong observation and documentation skills; comfortable discussing with parents.
• Collaborative, warm and reflective team player.

Responsabilités

• Design and lead English-medium provocations, projects and routines to build oral language and early literacy.
• Create a rich English-speaking environment with conversation, storytelling, song, drama and print.
• Document thinking through stories, observations and portfolios; share progress with parents clearly.
• Plan and teach with your Mandarin co-teacher so both languages carry the same inquiry.
• Embed SEL and wellness practices into the day, focusing on regulation and independence.
• Maintain a calm, safe, well-prepared classroom that invites exploration.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences and in-house professional development.
