Your new role

• Develop and establish an optimised offline data architecture tailored for large-scale recommendation systems.
• Create scalable, adaptable, high-performing, and reliable storage and computing systems.
• Diagnose and resolve issues within the production system, and design robust mechanisms and tools to ensure its overall stability and smooth operation.
• Leverage data mining, modelling, natural language processing, and machine learning techniques to extract insights and analyse large datasets, encompassing both structured and unstructured data.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proficiency in a wide range of open-source frameworks within the big data domain, such as Hadoop, Hive, Flink, FlinkSQL, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Redis, RocksDB, and ElasticSearch.
• Strong familiarity with programming languages, including Java and C++.
• Exceptional coding skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the field.
