Job summary
Tencent seeks a data engineer within the Corporate Development Group to lead the development and maintenance of data ingestion, foundation, warehouse, and reporting for overseas advertising systems. You will drive performance and cost optimization of big data components in the overseas advertising ecosystem.
The role requires 3+ years of big data development experience, proficiency in Hadoop/Spark/Flink/ClickHouse, and strong coding skills (Scala/Java/C++/Go).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, with 3+ years in big data development.
- Deep big data knowledge; proficient with Hadoop, Spark, Flink, ClickHouse.
- Strong coding skills in Scala, Java, Go, or C++.
- Experience in ads or search data development preferred.
- Experience building or optimizing big data processing platforms preferred.
- Proactive, resilient, and good communicator.
- Fluent bilingual proficiency (Chinese and English) for HQ and international collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data ingestion, foundation, warehouse, and reporting for overseas ads.
- Drive performance and cost optimization of big data components.
- Develop and optimize streaming and batch processing pipelines for overseas advertising systems.
- Analyze data to identify ad performance improvements and provide actionable recommendations.
