Job summary

Tencent is seeking a data engineer in Singapore to build and maintain data reports for overseas developers and establish data indicators across international campaigns. You will contribute to the data flow of overseas advertising systems and ensure reliable data infrastructure.

You will collaborate with global teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions, maintain data quality, and drive performance improvements for Tencent's advertising data capabilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing.
• Strong coding ability in at least one language (Scala, Python, C++, Go, or Java).
• Familiar with Linux OS and practical operations.
• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin with global HQ teams.

• Be responsible for the construction and maintenance of data reports for overseas developers and the establishment of overseas advertising data indicators.
• Take charge of the development of the data flow of the overseas advertising system and the maintenance of the data system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data engineering solutions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the data infrastructure.

Requirements

Who We Look For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related majors.
• Familiar with big data technologies and distributed computing, such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink, Clickhouse, etc.
• Strong coding ability, familiar with at least one programming language, such as Scala, python, C++, Go, or Java.
• Familiar with the Linux operating system and have practical operation skills.
• Be proactive, have strong work enthusiasm, stress resistance, and communication skills, as well as good learning ability and problem analysis and solving skills.
• Require bilingual proficiency as of communications with global and HQ teams are conducted in both English and Mandarin.
