Sub-team Description

The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are constantly seeking new business opportunities to drive Shopee to become the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. These teams aim to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

About the team:

The Big Campaigns team sits within the Business Development function and plays a key role in driving Shopee’s major campaigns (e.g. Double-Digit Mega Campaigns, 15MMS, 25SSS, Category Campaigns, etc.). We work closely with internal stakeholders to execute high-impact, data-driven campaigns that engage users and deliver business results.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us as a Business Development Associate. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates who are keen to build a career in e-commerce, campaign execution, and strategic project management.

Job Description

  • Drive end-to-end planning and execution of major campaigns (e.g. Double-Digit Mega Campaigns, 15MMS, 25SSS, Category Campaigns)
  • Translate commercial goals into actionable strategies (e.g. discount structures, seller requirements)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to secure key deals and ensure seamless execution
  • Monitor performance via dashboards, identify gaps, flag issues, and recommend improvements
  • Partner with BI, Marketing, and BD teams to improve outcomes through data-driven insights

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related field
  • Strong interest in e-commerce, digital platforms, and campaign management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Excellent project management capabilities and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; experience working cross-functionally is a plus
  • Prior experience in e-commerce, consulting, or programme management is a bonus
