Job summary

A leading company in the railway sector is seeking a Bids Manager for their Singapore office. The successful candidate will have a pivotal role in managing complex bids, ensuring a consistent bid management process, and contributing to winning strategies. Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in Project or Bid management.
  • Demonstrated international exposure.
  • Experience in the Railway Transport sector preferred.

Bids Manager (Ref.No. R1009645)

You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

  • Management of Complex Bid
  • Ensure a consistent bid management process across all bids using established bid management tools
  • Ensure understanding of client’s RFP/tender objective, customer’s pain points and Company’s competitive advantage
  • Manage communications between internal stakeholders and customers on matters pertaining to the bid (e.g. tender clarifications, corrigendum, cost + price review, etc)
  • Manage the creation of the bid deliverables and ensuring review and governance, leading to the creation of a high quality proposal
  • Assist Sales/ BizDev forces in Qualifying Opportunities
  • Actively participate in defining and then implementing winning strategies and capture plans

You have:

  • At least 10 years of experience in Project or Bid management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business
  • Experience in Railway Transport sector preferred
  • Result oriented, strong drive in a team context
  • Technical background with strong inclination for commercial exposure
  • High level of attention to details while not losing the big picture
  • Able to work under pressure and work effectively by leading and motivate multi-unit ad hoc bid teams
  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated international exposure
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Experience with Strategic long cycle selling and dealing with public procurement processes
  • Dealing with complex global matrix organization
