Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bid & QS Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the end-to-end tendering process and quantity surveying activities, especially within marine construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, compile, and submit tenders and bids in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents for accurate cost estimation.
  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, BOQs, and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Procurement, Project Management) to gather technical and commercial inputs for tender submissions.
  • Develop and deliver tender presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes.
  • Monitor project budgets and provide cost control during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of market trends, pricing, and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in bidding and quantity surveying.
  • Strong technical knowledge will be a distinct advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage full tendering process independently.
  • Proficient in cost estimation tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in marine construction will be a significant plus.
