We are seeking a forward thinking and resourceful Benefits Lead to join our Human Resources team. Someone who can challenge the status quo, think creatively, and co-create practical solutions that address diverse workforce needs while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance. The Benefits Lead will be instrumental in shaping a modern, fit for purpose benefits framework that supports both employee well-being and organisational priorities. Rewards function.
- Lead the design, implementation, and review of employee benefits programmes, including medical, insurance, wellness, and leave policies.
- Challenge conventional approaches and propose innovative, practical benefits solutions tailored to a diverse workforce.
- Engage and manage a wide range of stakeholders with varying priorities across business units, balancing compliance with business relevance.
- Oversee vendor management activities, including tenders, performance reviews, contract negotiations, and service delivery.
- Prepare compelling, data-driven presentations that translate complex issues into clear, actionable insights through effective storytelling for senior leadership decision making.
- Collaborate cross functionally with HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and external vendors to operationalise changes and drive effective implementation of initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to relevant employment regulations and internal policies, with a pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach.
- Champion benefits communication, education, and engagement efforts that help employees maximise the value of their benefits.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 8 or more years of relevant experience in employee benefits or total rewards, ideally in a complex or matrixed organisation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills; able to manage differing viewpoints and drive alignment.
- Proven ability to present and communicate effectively, using data to tell a compelling story.
- Analytical and solutions-oriented; comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
- Familiarity with compensation principles is advantageous and the role may include exposure to related projects.
- Proficient in HR systems (e.g. SAP) and Google Suite.
- In-depth understanding of Singapore’s employment laws and benefits landscape.
- Experience with expatriate management and related policies will be an added advantage.
