Responsibilities
- Category Strategic Planning: Develop long-term development strategies, annual business plans, and quarterly marketing strategies for the beauty and personal care category, aligning with the company's overall strategy and the characteristics of the Singaporean market. Ensure the achievement of sales targets and profit indicators for the category. Analyze market trends, consumer demands, and competitive landscapes to accurately position the category's development direction. Adjust the category structure and product portfolio in a timely manner to enhance market competitiveness and share.
- Product Management: Oversee the planning and product selection of the beauty and personal care product lines, introducing high-quality products that match Miniso's brand positioning and local consumer preferences. Follow the products from concept to launch, controlling key aspects such as product quality, packaging design, and pricing strategies. Regularly evaluate product sales performance, formulate and execute product replacement plans, and optimize inventory management to maintain healthy product turnover and inventory turnover rates.
- Supplier Relationship Management and Expansion: Source, screen, and manage local and international beauty and personal care suppliers, establishing long-term, stable, and mutually beneficial partnerships. Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable procurement terms, including price, delivery time, and quality assurance. Monitor suppliers' production processes and product deliveries to ensure on-time, high-quality, and sufficient supply. Actively explore new suppliers and cooperation opportunities to introduce innovative products and technologies, enriching the category offerings.
- Marketing and Promotion Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities and marketing plans for the beauty and personal care category. Design attractive promotional campaigns based on different seasons, festivals, and hot events to boost product sales and enhance brand awareness. Provide professional product knowledge and market information to support the creation of marketing materials and the implementation of promotional activities. Analyze the effectiveness of promotional activities, summarize experiences, and provide insights for future optimization.
- Data Analysis and Decision Support: Establish and improve the data analysis system for the beauty and personal care category. Regularly collect, organize, and analyze sales data, market data, and consumer feedback. Leverage data analysis to identify business growth opportunities and potential issues, providing data-driven decision support for category planning, product selection, pricing strategies, and promotional activities. Track the achievement of business goals using data and adjust strategies promptly to ensure the healthy development of the category.
- Team Management and Collaboration: Lead and manage the beauty and personal care category team. Set team work plans and goals, allocate tasks reasonably, conduct regular performance evaluations and feedback to improve the team's overall business capabilities and work efficiency. In cross-departmental collaboration, maintain close communication and cooperation with procurement, operations, finance, marketing, and other departments to ensure smooth information flow and jointly promote the successful development of the beauty and personal care category.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: A bachelor's degree or above is required. Degrees in related fields are preferred.
- Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in the beauty industry, with at least 2 years in category management or product management are preferred. Familiarity with the Singaporean beauty and personal care market, understanding of local consumer demands and shopping habits. Candidates with successful track records in category planning, product introduction, and sales growth are preferred.
- Professional Skills: Demonstrate keen market insight and trend analysis ability to accurately grasp market dynamics and changes in consumer demands in the beauty and personal care sector. Proficient in data analysis tools (such as Excel, SQL, etc.) with strong data analysis and interpretation skills to drive business decisions through data. Excellent negotiation skills and supplier management capabilities to effectively maintain and expand supplier resources. Good project management skills to efficiently organize and coordinate cross-departmental projects, ensuring timely delivery.
