Job description

What is this position about?

This role involves managing and supporting the Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities for Singapore and Southeast Asia sites.

What would a typical day at BNPP Paribas look like?

  • Collaborate with business units on their continuity requirements and assist the Crisis Management Team during emergencies. The role requires frequent communication with both front and back office staff to understand their needs and clearly explain Group and Regulatory requirements.

Primary Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the BCM team within Organization and Control.
  • Implement the Group BCM program for Singapore and SEA in accordance with BNPP Group and Regulatory policies.
  • Enforce BC governance through the BC Steering Committee for Singapore.
  • Assist the Crisis Management Committee in crisis management processes.
  • Provide advisory on BCM methodology, implementation, testing, and governance to SEA sites.
  • Supervise BCM compliance across SEA sites.
  • Act as the contact point for BCM tools and methodologies rollout in SEA.
  • Ensure periodic testing and implementation of business recovery solutions.

Additional Contributions

  • Participate in evaluation, testing, and implementation of BCM documentation and crisis management tools.
  • Contribute to the Permanent Control framework.
