What You'll Do

The Career Services Manager will spearhead the career transition support for RISE participants, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate the job market and secure roles aligned with their newly acquired skills. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for talent development and a deep understanding of the digital employment landscape.

Key responsibilities:

• Set the strategic direction of the Career Services Program to ensure strong career outcomes for graduating learners
• Design and implement new programs to RISE learners, while enhancing existing programs, including resume and interview preparation workshops, to assist learners in their job search
• Source and hold career coaches and agencies to high standards in helping learners attain their career goals.
• Closely track and program learners’ career outcomes through data collection and analysis, and report effectively to client, management, and stakeholders
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate partners to facilitate job placement opportunities for RISE graduates.
• Organize events to connect RISE learners with RISE alumni, employers, and recruiters
• Anticipate and manage learner and stakeholder escalations with empathy, urgency, and a focus on optimal resolution.
• Manage Careers Services team and its operations.

What You'll Bring

• 8+ years of experience in career services, talent acquisition, or workforce development, preferably within the digital or technology sectors
• Proven track record of successful employer engagement and job placement outcomes.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Data-driven, with a track record in achieving business goals through analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills, with the ability to motivate diverse groups of professionals.
• People management experience.
• Comfortable with digital/SaaS tools, such as MS Office, CRMs (e.g. Hubspot), project management (e.g. Asana, Trello, etc)
• Dedicated team player and take strong ownership in work
