Job summary

ABeam Consulting (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a BAU support specialist to manage daily sanction list updates and rule suppression using the FIRCO system, coordinating with local bank staff. The role involves knowledge transfer to new permanent hires and documenting processes for continuity.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of FIRCO experience, strong English communication, and proven ability to train teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of three years’ hands-on experience with daily sanction list updates, the FIRCO system (including Utility tools), and analyzing hit results to create suppression rules.
• Business-level proficiency in English, with strong skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Proficiency in documentation and reporting using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Experience working with or coordinating alongside Japanese companies.
• Capability to deliver training sessions and effectively transfer knowledge to others.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will provide BAU (Business-As-Usual) support for daily list and rule updates across branches using IBM SaaS Firco.
• The candidate will coordinate with existing bank staff to plan the process and will be responsible for transferring operational knowledge to newly hired permanent staff.
• Sanction list updates: Maintain and update sanction lists within IBM SaaS Firco.
• Rule creation and suppression: Analyze hit results and develop suppression rules to improve operational efficiency.
• Knowledge transfer: Document and hand over operational knowledge to permanent staff once hired.
