Bartender / Assistant Manager

Job Description & Requirements

1. Responsible for the dining experience of guests at Violet Oon ensuring their complete satisfaction from the moment of arrival till departure.
2. This service objective is achieved through proper preparation of all beverages, presentation, and cleanliness of the bar, ensuring compliance with established service standards.
3. Comply with all regulatory rules and regulations of government agencies pertaining to safety and sanitation codes.
4. Ensure beverage sales targets are met through upselling and promoting beverages to guests.
5. Reduce wastage and spillage.
6. Prepare all mis-en-place completed before operation (e.g., garnishes, glassware).
7. Ensure that all equipment is in working condition.
8. Order and store stock.
9. Perform monthly inventory of equipment and utensils.
10. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the bar.
11. Notify the manager on duty of the non-availability of beverage products.
12. Upsell F&B products while taking orders.
13. Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner, thank them, and give a fond farewell.
14. Coordinate with the manager on all aspects of the event/function beverage requirements.
15. Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.
16. Assist the manager in establishing maintenance and cleaning schedules.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.
