Job Description: Bartender

The Bartender is responsible for providing guests with exceptional experiences and professional, high-level service.

  1. Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, and set all tables according to standards and procedures.
  2. Deliver food and beverage services in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
  3. Check table settings, cleanliness, and side station preparation prior to operation.
  4. Greet all patrons warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
  5. Ensure all food and beverages are served according to service standards.
  6. Pick up and serve food and beverage orders promptly, ensuring they arrive at the correct temperature.
  7. Serve food and beverages according to LQA service standards.
  8. Upsell and promote food and beverage offers to maximize sales revenue, including cross-selling to other dining venues when appropriate.
  9. Remember guest names and preferences to provide personalized service.
  10. Apply necessary precautions to adhere to hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
  11. Collect food and beverage supply requisitions and ensure stock accuracy.
  12. Handle guest complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently, reporting any incidents or irregularities to management.
