Job Description: Bartender
The Bartender is responsible for providing guests with exceptional experiences and professional, high-level service.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, and set all tables according to standards and procedures.
- Deliver food and beverage services in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
- Check table settings, cleanliness, and side station preparation prior to operation.
- Greet all patrons warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Ensure all food and beverages are served according to service standards.
- Pick up and serve food and beverage orders promptly, ensuring they arrive at the correct temperature.
- Serve food and beverages according to LQA service standards.
- Upsell and promote food and beverage offers to maximize sales revenue, including cross-selling to other dining venues when appropriate.
- Remember guest names and preferences to provide personalized service.
- Apply necessary precautions to adhere to hotel food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Collect food and beverage supply requisitions and ensure stock accuracy.
- Handle guest complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently, reporting any incidents or irregularities to management.
