COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Rempapa by Damian D'Silva is a multicultural restaurant serving dishes from the ethnicities in Singapore. A personal contribution to the ongoing story of cuisine in Singapore, drawing on a lifetime of custodianship and elevation of our culinary heritage, to engage the young and further the discourse on Singapore food.


Position: Bartender
Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers at the bar or through beverage runners.
  2. Be well-versed in spirits, liquors, and cocktails, including different styles of beverages served and techniques required to craft them.
  3. Recommend wines, cocktails, or aperitifs to guests comfortably.
  4. Accurately record drinks ordered and process payments for guests.
  5. Ensure efficiency in daily setup and closing procedures.
  6. Monitor daily inventory and ensure restocking of ingredients.
  7. Provide excellent customer service, including recommendations and answering inquiries.
  8. Upsell drinks and bar snack items to guests.
  9. Maintain a well-groomed, clean, and professional appearance according to grooming standards.
  10. Assist the manager in creating classic and innovative drinks to exceed guest expectations.
  11. Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene standards are met for all glassware, equipment, and work areas.
  12. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Qualifications
  1. Good knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  2. Prior experience in bartending is an advantage.
  3. Comfortable with numbers and cash handling.
  4. Good verbal communication skills.
  5. Able and willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotational shifts.
  6. Available for a 5-day work week.
