ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Barista Supervisor to join our team at The Dempsey Project. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, maintaining service quality, and leading the bar team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise bar operations and manage bar staff during shifts
• Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of beverages
• Monitor inventory and coordinate stock orders
• Train, support, and mentor junior bar team members
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Contribute to the development of beverage menus
• Address customer feedback professionally
• Perform opening and closing duties, including cashier if needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a barista supervisory or senior barista
• Strong knowledge of coffee and basic knowledge for cocktails, spirits, and wine
• Ability to lead a team and work under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and service-driven
• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
