Job description

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Location: NUS EA Campus

Working Days: Weekdays only (Monday to Friday)

Shift Hours: 7.30am-5.30pm (full time);

Salary Range: $2,200 - 2,500 (Based on experience)


Requirements:

  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Experience in salad bar and food preparation is a plus

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 year of barista experience is preferred

Expected Start Date: mid Jul

  • Warmly greet customers as they approach the counter
  • Accurately describe product details to customers while taking orders and paying meticulous attention to preferences of dairy and sugar ratios
  • Skilfully prepare and serves a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee and tea, tailoring orders to meet specific customer requests.
  • Serve beverages and heat up pre-prepared food, such as pastries and sandwiches
  • Receive and process payments efficiently through cash and e-payment systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter and food preparation area, including cleaning all equipment, utensils and work areas.
  • Practice first-in, first out (FIFO) inventory management to track and dispose of expired ingredients
  • Manage stock by ordering and storing products, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure the proper functioning of freezers, chillers and heaters by routinely checking temperatures of that equipment.
  • Monitor the condition of brewing equipment and promptly report any maintenance needs
  • Comply with basic food hygiene guideline & regulations
  • Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items based on insights
  • Actively upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
