About the role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our team at The Coffee Lab & Roasters. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional coffee and customer service in our vibrant café located in the Central Region. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within our dynamic food and beverage business.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders and process payments through POS.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and food options, such as coffee, tea, pastries, and sandwiches in accordance with SOP.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and stations in accordance with SOP.
• Perform inventory checks on products and ingredients.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and food hygiene at all times.
• Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items based on insights.
• Support service crew work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

• Barista working experience and basic latte art skills are preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
• Good communication skills and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Passion for all things coffee and a desire to contribute to a thriving cafe culture.
