Barista

We are looking for an ambitious and passionate team member to join our team at Korio. The ideal candidate should have wide knowledge in coffee preparation while providing excellent customer service.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages
2. Takes customers’ orders and assist in all enquiries
3. Operate coffee machines and other equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness
4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment which includes food preparation station storage areas, and customer seating area
5. Assist in stock take and inventory management
6. Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments, and maintain accurate cash register operations
7. Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel
8. Assist in opening and closing duties when necessary
9. Ensure that guest satisfaction is met
10. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

1. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
2. Good oral communication skills
3. Proficient in English
4. Minimum 1-2 years of F&B experience
5. Valid food hygiene certificate is mandatory
