Primary Responsibilities
Food & Beverage Service:
- Develop plans, prioritize, organize, and manage resources to achieve business goals within set timelines.
- Maintain the bar training manual and conduct departmental service training with the Learning and Development Manager.
- Support review simulation processes and update evaluation criteria for smooth operations.
- Interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Possess extensive knowledge of food & beverage menus.
- Take orders confidently, offering menu options and advice.
- Remember guest preferences to provide personalized service.
- Accurately input orders into the Point-of-Sale system and verify guest satisfaction during service.
- Anticipate guest needs and serve food and drinks efficiently.
- Ensure all products are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it.
- Clear tables according to hotel standards and deliver checks appropriately.
- Adjust service to meet guest requests and personalize interactions.
- Use a Heartist approach—making guests Feel Welcome, Feel Heart-warmed, Feel Incredible, and Belong.
Overseeing Daily Operations and Achieving Targets:
- Maintain quality and consistency of the beverage program and service.
- Monitor stock levels of OS&E and beverages, adhering to recipes and material control.
- Conduct weekly maintenance equipment checks.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping to maintain HACCP and hygiene standards.
- Keep the outlet and related areas clean and presentable at all times.
Providing a Leading and Consistent Guest Experience:
- Promote sales through direct guest interactions.
- Gather guest feedback during operations to ensure satisfaction and build loyalty.
- Handle guest complaints swiftly and effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Management and Leadership of Outlet:
- Show cultural sensitivity and empathy towards team members.
- Observe colleagues’ performance, grooming, and punctuality; assist in recruitment, induction, and training.
- Support project management, including equipment and supplies sourcing and quality control.
- Check daily opening and closing duties.
Marketing Plan and Revenue Management:
- Respond confidently to guest questions and feedback about the outlet.
- Recommend new revenue opportunities to management.
- Implement cost control measures for expenses and labor.
- Ensure accuracy of all reports before submission.
Training, Learning, and Development of the Team:
- Arrange and conduct training sessions for colleagues in line with requirements.
- Provide ongoing on-the-job training to develop skills and knowledge.
- Train colleagues on fire safety, emergency procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Assist in onboarding new colleagues.
- Follow safety, emergency, and hygiene regulations diligently.
