Bar Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Manager to lead and oversee our bar operations. This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering service excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to team management and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage daily bar operations to ensure seamless service and product delivery.
2. Drive team performance to achieve financial and departmental targets.
3. Train, coach, and mentor team members to uphold service excellence and operational standards.
4. Plan and adjust staff rosters in line with business needs and productivity guidelines.
5. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, hygiene and safety regulations, and alcohol service legislation.
6. Oversee inventory management, conduct regular stock checks, and maintain stock levels to meet guest demands.
7. Maintain bar cleanliness and ensure all equipment is functional and well-maintained.
8. Recommend and upsell promotional items to guests to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
9. Manage beverage requisitions, including special orders for events, to maintain profitability.
10. Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in F&B Management with a strong background in bar operations.
2. Diploma in Operations Management, Hospitality, Food & Beverage Services Management, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices.
4. Creative, innovative, and resourceful with a passion for the F&B industry.
5. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
6. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
