Job Description

Responsible for operations within assigned stations, administration and profitability of the bar. This includes the preparation and presentation of all beverages in conformance to product and performance standards, maintaining of operating equipment, providing sound suggestions and up-selling of food and beverage, and engaging guests in professional and friendly conversations.

Job Responsibilities
  1. In charge of the day-to-day running of the rooftop bar, giving direction to the entire service team, and ensuring adequate coverage according to established practices to maximize labor potential.
  2. Lead by example with a hands-on approach, striving for the highest guest satisfaction and building relevant contacts in the market (guests and industry players).
  3. Develop and train team members to create a dynamic and high-performing environment while achieving satisfaction goals.
  4. Focus on achieving outlet profitability through revenue generation and effective cost controls.
  5. Analyze current market trends and seek opportunities to develop the business through creativity and promotional activities.
  6. Ensure smooth department operations through adequate supply of materials and equipment.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members via regular briefings on current activities and targets.
  8. Collaborate with other hotel departments as needed.
  9. Work closely with the restaurant service team and chefs to deliver luxury service in the dining area.
  10. Organize and lead F&B events, working with relevant teams for professional execution.
  11. Maintain accurate par stocks according to activity and promotions.
  12. Create and update Standard Operating Procedures for the bar.
  13. Review operation and P&L statements monthly, providing analytic feedback to management.
  14. Ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
  15. Handle guest feedback promptly.
  16. Maintain proper care, security, and maintenance of hotel equipment.
  17. Supervise storage and operational areas, keeping outlets clean and tidy.
  18. Monitor staff grooming, attitude, and professionalism to ensure quality service standards.
  19. Be familiar with hotel fire, life safety, and emergency procedures.
  20. Attend all briefings, meetings, and training sessions as required.
  21. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of beverage and cocktail service operations.
  • Deep understanding of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Knowledge of beverage cost control procedures.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to quality control.
