Job description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar, ensuring an exceptional beverage program and world-class service that aligns with the high standards of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with in-depth knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktails, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Bar Operations Management

    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards.

    • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal of the bar area.

    • Manage bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation of liquor, wine, and supplies.

  2. Beverage Program Development

    • Curate and maintain seasonal beverage menus including signature cocktails, wine selections, and spirits.

    • Work with suppliers to source high-quality products and keep offerings innovative and in line with trends.

    • Ensure compliance with local licensing laws and health & safety regulations.

  3. Team Leadership & Training

    • Recruit, train, schedule, and lead the bar team to ensure top-tier service and product knowledge.

    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions.

    • Foster a positive, professional work environment and promote teamwork.

  4. Guest Experience

    • Interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and build repeat clientele.

    • Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently.

    • Support special events, private dining, and seasonal promotions.

  5. Financial & Sales Performance

    • Monitor bar-related costs and control wastage.

    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and implement strategies to increase revenue.

    • Work with management to achieve monthly and quarterly financial targets.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Head Bartender in a similar setting
