Bar Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Bar Manager to lead and oversee our bar operations. This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering service excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to team management and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily bar operations to ensure seamless service and product delivery.
  • Drive team performance to achieve financial and departmental targets.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to uphold service excellence and operational standards.
  • Plan and adjust staff rosters in line with business needs and productivity guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, hygiene and safety regulations, and alcohol service legislation.
  • Oversee inventory management, conduct regular stock checks, and maintain stock levels to meet guest demands.
  • Maintain bar cleanliness and ensure all equipment is functional and well-maintained.
  • Recommend and upsell promotional items to guests to enhance the guest experience and maximize revenue.
  • Manage beverage requisitions, including special orders for events, to maintain profitability.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in F&B Management with a strong background in bar operations.
  • Diploma in Operations Management, Hospitality, Food & Beverage Services Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Creative, innovative, and resourceful with a passion for the F&B industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
