Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience: Oversee the entire bar operation to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience from arrival to departure.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety, sanitation codes, and regulatory rules set by government agencies.

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed beverage sales targets, including effective upselling techniques.

Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, minimize wastage, conduct regular inventory checks, and oversee stock ordering and storage.

Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver high-quality service, maintain cleanliness, and uphold service standards.

Financial Management: Monitor bar expenses, contribute to budget planning, and optimize profitability while maintaining quality.

Customer Service: Interact with guests, handle customer inquiries or complaints, and ensure prompt resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.

Event Coordination: Collaborate with the manager on event/function beverage requirements, coordinating with staff to ensure successful execution.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all bar equipment is in optimal working condition, conduct regular maintenance checks, and address any issues promptly.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and operational efficiency for management review.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and contribute to overall operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Food & Beverage Management or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in bar management, preferably in a high-volume establishment.

Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, and beverage trends, with a focus on quality and innovation.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proven track record of driving sales, managing teams, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
