As a Banquet Administrator, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Communicate with the Event Management Manager or Executive to fully understand guests’ requirements.
  • Ensure that all function rooms are set up in accordance with the Banquet Event Order.
  • Engage and coordinate with meeting organizers to handle all pre-requested and last-minute requests appropriately.
  • Ensure guest needs and expectations are met by providing efficient and professional service.
  • Control staffing and casual labor costs, ensuring work hours per deployed staff are properly utilized.
  • Administer post-function reports, identifying problems and suggesting solutions to the Director of Banquets.
  • Ensure cleanliness of function rooms and banquet areas at all times.
  • Monitor MOHG standards such as MbMO, LRA, LQE, and FLHSS&E regularly.
  • Handle ad hoc special projects and assignments as assigned by the Director of Banquet Operations.
