Job summary

Adecco Portugal partners with a leading global bank to recruit a UAT Tester for a 12-month contract at Changi Business Park, Singapore. The role focuses on designing test strategies, executing test cases, and driving defect resolution with technology partners.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in web/mobile testing within banking, strong analytical skills, and hands-on JBehave experience. Proactive collaboration and excellent communication are essential in this fast-paced project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in web/mobile testing, preferably in banking.
• Strong analytical skills to derive end-to-end test scenarios.
• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall; experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with JBehave.
• Java and VB scripting understanding is an advantage.
• Experience with QA tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and written/verbal communication.
• Team player with strong organizational skills and ability to work independently under guidance.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and ability to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive test strategies and scenarios per acceptance criteria, translate to scripting standards.
• Develop reusable test assets with traceability to requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated tests across web/mobile platforms.
• Execute test cases with quality and drive defect management in JIRA, with RCA.
• Maintain JIRA hygiene to support reusability and audit compliance.
• Support daily test management, stand-ups, defect closure, and demos.
• Track downtime and maintain regression packs to minimize NA cases.
• Document live verification test coverage and review automated scripts for live runs.
• Participate in live implementation and post-production issue investigation and deployment.
