You Are:

People in our Client & Market career track drive profitable growth by developing market-relevant insights to increase market share or create new markets. They progress through required promotion into market-facing roles that have a direct impact on sales.

Management Consulting professionals design and implement process and change interventions that integrate strategy, technology and people to enable process improvements that create value for clients.

The Banking Consulting team helps to design and implement business changes that drive industry-specific, function and digital operating model transformation, focusing on task relating to people and process.

Skills include:

1. Provides solutions to complex business problems for areas(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
2. Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
3. Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.

The Work:

1. Help define the value of a transformation, and how to measure and track success.
2. Facilitate design thinking and/or customer journey workshops to support development of a transformation roadmap and/or strategy.
3. Manage across transformation management domains for a workstream (e.g., scope, cost, schedule, etc.).
4. Manage the definition of the practices, processes, toolsets, and operations for one or more transformation domains.
5. Build strong relationships with clients that extend beyond individual projects, including beginning to develop C-suite relationships while serving as a true trusted advisor.
6. Balance understanding client needs and desires with presenting an informed and convincing perspective in the interests of the client’s business.
7. Drive thought leadership, asset development, and intellectual capital efforts, building a following with similar expertise.
8. Identify and advance ideas for new business opportunities.
9. Drive business development by architecting and developing proposals and SOWs with the support of a Senior Manager.
10. Identify creative and hard-to-find data sources and refine hypothesis through interviews.
11. Develop focused expertise across multiple targeted Transformation Excellence focus areas while maintaining breadth of knowledge basis.

Job Qualifications:

1. With at least at 8+ years relevant experience in management consulting and industry banking with broad experience in engagement management, and/or business development.
2. Relevant background in the space of commercial banking, corporate banking, trade finance, core banking, credit, payments, or digital banking operations experience and expertise, along with corresponding banking systems.
3. Experience leading a team and managing resources.
4. A Bachelor's degree and equivalent.

Bonus Points if:

1. You’ve got an advanced degree or financial industry certification.
2. Banking systems certifications.
3. You’ve got experience in sales and delivering banking projects on time.
