Job summary
Unison Consulting is seeking an experienced Functional Business Analyst for banking projects focused on Digital Banking Channels or Cash/Core Banking. You will translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and work with stakeholders across product, development, and QA teams.
The role emphasizes strong banking domain knowledge, analytical skills, and experience with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall delivery to ensure successful project delivery within timelines.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Functional Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
- Experience translating business requirements into functional specs.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting SIT/UAT and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for banking applications.
- Digital Channels: prepare User Story Templates, document user stories and acceptance criteria, and develop user journey mockups.
- Cash/Core Banking: review FSDs, banking workflows, and analyse core banking systems and interfaces.
- Translate requirements into functional specs, processes, and system requirements.
- Support solution discussions, functional walkthroughs, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
- Maintain functional documentation and communicate changes to stakeholders.
