Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support trade finance operations across Singapore and Hong Kong. This role involves managing end-to-end trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit and Guarantees, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Job description

  • Support the processing of daily trade finance transactions across Singapore and Hong Kong markets.

  • Handle end-to-end trade finance operations including Import and Export Letters of Credit, Guarantees, and Risk Participation activities.

  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of transactions in line with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and cut-off times.

  • Perform customer due diligence including KYC validation and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks.

  • Enter transaction data into trade finance systems, process payments and SWIFT messages, and generate relevant customer communications.

  • Manage related administrative tasks such as document handling, recordkeeping, and client correspondence.

  • Contribute to digital transformation efforts and participate in operational projects and initiatives.

  • Support business continuity planning and execution in accordance with the bank’s policies.

  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or department heads.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in end-to-end processing of commodity trade imports and Letter of Credit (LC) documentation.

  • Detail-oriented with strong knowledge and hands-on experience in handling commodity trade LC transactions.
