Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Mohali district for a BANK GUARANTEE & LETTER OF CREDIT Executive. The executive will oversee the management and processing of bank guarantees and letters of credit, ensuring timely execution and compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities include managing credit control processes, analyzing financial data, coordinating with banks and customers, and maintaining accurate records. The role demands strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of finance and credit management principles.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Bank Guarantee & LC specialist to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with strong expertise in letters of credit & bank guarantees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational banking activities related to BGs / LCs
  • Limit management for BGs / LCs
  • Handling documentation for Bank Guarantees (ABGs/PBGs/CPBGs/EMDs) and LCs, both online and offline
  • Finalizing LCs after verifying all related documents
  • Issuance details and expiry management of BGs
  • Verification of BGs and LCs, including extensions and amendments
  • Verification of LC claims and BOE acceptance on vendor bills
  • Verification and cancellation of BGs with banks
  • Coordination with banks, handling bank queries and requirements
  • Reviewing and negotiating guarantee wording with subsidiaries, legal, and banks to ensure compliance
  • Monitoring BG activities daily and liaising with banks and subsidiaries for timely issuance and issue resolution

Key Skills & Requirements

  • B.Com, M.Com, or MBA
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Letters of Credit & Bank Guarantees
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Tally & SAP software
