About All That Jazz Dance Academy

All That Jazz Dance Academy is one of Singapore’s leading dance and performing arts schools, with over 1,500 students across five locations island-wide. We offer a wide range of programs including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Street Dance, Acro, and Musical Theatre — all delivered in a fun, structured, and nurturing environment.

Founded with the belief that dance should inspire confidence, creativity, and discipline, we’ve built a strong reputation for high-quality training and positive, student-centered teaching. Our academy caters to children from age 2 and up, whether they’re dancing for fun, aiming for exams, or preparing for performance and competition opportunities.

We’re a passionate, close-knit team that thrives on collaboration, creativity, and a genuine love for teaching. If you’re someone who cares deeply about making an impact and being part of a supportive and dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Ballet & Jazz teacher who is passionate about nurturing young dancers and helping them grow in both skill and confidence. You’ll be responsible for leading weekly classes, preparing students for exams and performances, and contributing to the overall energy and spirit of the school.

This role is ideal for someone who loves working with children, believes in discipline delivered with kindness, and is excited to be part of a team that’s shaping the next generation of dancers.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach engaging and technically sound ballet and jazz classes, including exam-level work (ISTD, ADAPT).

  • Plan lessons, choreograph routines, and prepare students for exams, showcases, and competitions.

  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and team leads to uphold teaching standards and syllabus alignment.

  • Deliver feedback and guidance to students in a way that’s constructive, kind, and confidence-building.

  • Keep parents informed of student progress through videos, emails, or occasional meetings.

  • Support seasonal programs such as dance camps, intensives, and performance rehearsals.

  • Help maintain a positive classroom culture built on mutual respect, hard work, and joy.

  • Ensure students are dancing safely by emphasising proper technique, posture, alignment, and warm-up protocols.

  • Take part in studio events and contribute to marketing or community engagement activities when needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2–3 years of teaching experience, ideally with children and youth.

  • Strong ability to teach ballet and jazz; bonus if you can teach some tap as well.

  • Certified in a recognized dance syllabus (RAD, ISTD, CSTD) or a degree/diploma in dance.

  • Open to continuous learning and willing to undergo in-house training across multiple styles.

  • Warm, enthusiastic, and passionate about dance education.

  • Reliable, organized, and a strong communicator with both students and parents.

  • Ideally available for training and handover in July, with teaching duties starting in August.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a leading academy with a strong brand and student base.

  • Work in a supportive environment that values growth, teamwork, and creativity.

  • Enjoy structured teaching support and opportunities to broaden your skills.

  • Make a real difference in the lives of young dancers.
