Doughnut Shack- Experienced Bakery Manager Wanted!

Are you a dynamic and hands-on bakery professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Doughnut Shack is looking for an Experienced Bakery Manager to oversee daily operations, lead our team, and ensure every customer leaves with a smile (and a delicious treat!).

What You’ll Do:

- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflows from production to sales.

- Supervise and train part-time staff, fostering a positive and efficient team environment.

- Handle cashiering, order packing, and customer service with a warm and professional attitude.

- Manage messages and orders across all platforms (social media, phone, email, etc.).

- Step into production when needed—decorating & glazing doughnuts, bombolinis, pastries, and breads.

- Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

- Order and receive supplies, goods, and materials.

- Prepare and Pack baked goods for Retail Sales and Deliveries. Coordinate with Drivers.

- Arrange stocks, baked goods and supplies in freezer, chillers or Dry storage.

- Printing out of stock labels, sales and order sheets on a daily basis and File them properly.

- Participate in Inventory Stocks Counting.
- Perform other duties require by the Head Baker or/and Director.

- Assist bakers by serving customers at counter where baked goods are sold. Your responsibility include greeting customers, providing advice, taking orders, packaging baked goods, beverage making, final prep to the baked goods, cashiering, daily sales opening and closing , managing baked goods and packaging inventories.

- Advanced ability to multi-task and follow instructions given by bakers

- Monitor the visual appeal and the availability of baked goods on display

- Report low baked goods stock to the Baker in a timely manner.

- Maintain a clean and tidy baked goods counter and performing other duties on request.

- Clean the store and display counters after business hours and preparing it for the next day

- Excellent customer service and communication skills; manage customer complaints and relaying them to the baker and/or management.

- Proficiency in processing payments of baked goods via different payment gateways and platforms.

- Assist the baker and management to oversee operation with focus on sales management, customer satisfaction, operating expenses and shop’s profitability.

- Assist with rostering efficiently and cost-effectively to match business needs and sales

- Supervise and train the part timers in accordance to the DOUGHNUT SHACK SOP

•-Enforce and ensure compliance to Company SOPs, governmental regulations, food safety and hygiene standards within the store

- Any other ad-hoc duties base on operational needs

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience in bakery/café management or a similar role. (minimum 2 years and above)

- Strong leadership skills—able to motivate and manage part-time staff.

- Multitasking pro who can juggle customer service, operations, and light production. (prioritize, and manage time efficiently)

- Tech-savvy—comfortable handling POS systems and online orders/messages.

- Flexible and hands-on—willing to help with baking/decorating during peak times.

- Passion for doughnuts, pastries, and creating memorable customer experiences!

- Physical endurance to stand for entire shift

- Proficiency of both English and Chinese is a must; both speak and write.
