A leading food service company is seeking Management Trainees for both back and front of house roles. Responsibilities include food preparation and customer service, with opportunities for growth within the management framework. Candidates should have a passion for hospitality and strong communication skills.
Back of house (BOH) -MT
Prepare, cook and present food effectively and efficiently, meeting the company operations manual and gold standards.
Assist in the preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
Maintain good knowledge on standard food preparation through training by immediate superior/ manual provided by the company
Keep up to date with the current promotions and new items in the menu.
Maintain the kitchen cleanliness (housekeeping), food hygiene and safety standards.
Execute any other duties as assigned.
Front of house (FOH) -MT
The Management Trainee is responsible for taking customers’ orders, answering questions, and making recommendations on menu items, serving food/beverages to customers, and performing cashiering duties. He/she is responsible for supervising staff working the floor, assigning their work stations, resolving work-related problems and ensuring the shift runs smoothly.
• To provide excellent customer service to guests in a timely and friendly manner, ensuring diners a pleasant dining experience.
• All the service aspects with gradual introduction to management tasks and roles.
• Upsell promotional items.
• Ensure that food hygiene and safety standards are maintained and comply.
• Work together with other team members to provide good quality service.
• Execute any other duties as assigned.
