A local bakery in Singapore is seeking a cake baker to prepare a variety of cakes and desserts. Responsibilities include ensuring product consistency, maintaining inventory, and following food safety standards. Candidates should have experience in cake baking and a certificate in food and beverage safety is preferred. This role requires strong teamwork and attention to detail, with a commitment to working hours and multi-tasking.

You will be working in a fast paced, working environment.
You have to be able to work as a team to complete cakes while work independently to complete individual tasks.
We specialise mainly on trending decorative cake, fondant and other pastries.
Jobs Scope & Job Responsibility:
· Daily preparation and production of a variety of cakes & desserts according to our recipes
· Responsible for the consistency and presentation of the products
· Maintain a high standard of work ethics, production and performance
· Check, maintain inventory and storage in a well-organized manner
· Housekeeping of kitchen
· Ensure compliance of all food safety standards
· Commitment to working hours and multi-tasking to finish assigned tasks
· To perform tasks diligently and meticulously, follow instructions properly
· To attend training and other required certifications if necessary
Requirements:
· Certificate in Food and Beverage Safety and Hygiene Policies and Procedures (Preferred)
· Experience in cake baking or formal training
· Salary is based on experience level
